DD has a bday party to go to today and i have some new CB kids dies that i've been wanting to try out.

recipe:
paper- CS is SU Wwhite, DP is DCWV
ink- SU Wwasabi & Ppink
stamps- SU "happy everything" & "a little birdie told me" (for the hat) and the little starburst one is by judith
accessories- DB dino die, SU scallop punch & marvy scallop punch, paper piercer, ribbon & thread, corner rounder punch (for scalloped edges on DP), sakura glitter pen (on starbursts), and clear stickles (on hat).

thanks for your patience with my lack of posting... this is the first time i've even used my home computer in over a week! i've been checking mail and stuff at work, which makes for a long day as i have so much mail to catch up on!
so i've been working out for over 4 months now, and guess how much weight i've lost!!! are you ready for the big number??!? one pound. one (1). yep! in the last four months, i've been working out at least 4 times per week, i even went on a liquid only diet for 2 weeks (when my tooth was acting up), and that's it! one lousy pound! and i really don't want to hear all that about "muscle weighs more than fat", or "you're probably just toning". rockashawna to that one little pound!

the answer to the last trivia question, "what was the last name of the family that adopted Emmanuel Lewis' character on webster"? well, their last name was Papadopolous! that was a tough one!

and now for the new trivia... i'll make this one easy, to make up for the last one =D
what was the name of Michael Knight's car on Knight Rider? good luck & have fun!

Very cute card! I love the pretty colors and all the different elements to your card.

I can totally relate to your dilemma about not losing weight despite exercising 3 to 5 times a week. I was absolutely baffled by it myself. I had cut down on my calories, exercised regularly and in 3 months managed to lose only 2 lbs! Mind boggling! LOL!

Anyway, good luck on your diet and stick with it. I'm sure the pounds will melt away soon!

Never watched the show, but is it Kit? Don't even get me started on weight loss . . . I'm a yo-yo! I need to get in shape, and STAY in shape! Ugh! It's so hard to stick with it! Good luck to you. It's frustrating!

Very cute card! I love that you put a party hat on a dinosaur!

2008 is a "new life, new me" year, including losing weight and getting in shape. So far, down about 10 lbs. I workout (40 mins. aerobics, 20-30 mins. weights) 4-5 times per week. But I think the thing that has also made a difference is that I see a nutrionist once a month. She has me keep a food journal. I don't count calories, I count servings. Carbs, of course, is the hardest to keep in line with, but is do-able with the journal. Just a tip.
I have to admit I'm not crying for ya too much, sister - you look pretty darn slender in your photo in our SBS2 Hall of Fame! LOL!
Just remember - it's not about weight as it is fitness and overall health! Good luck!

PS- The car's name is Kit! Can you believe they're starting a remake of the series?!?! Can't they think up anything new?!? Ugh!

I completely underdtand your workout dilemma! I did that last year! My DH and I were workingout and I was working twice as hard as him. He dropped 30 pounds, I dropped 5. Now how fair is that, I ask? I gave up and now I'm sorry that I did! It's too hard to get myself motivated to start it up again. Maybe if I had stuck with it a little longer, I might have seen better results!

Kit was the name of the car--I always liked the car better than David Hasselhoff :)
Sorry to hear about your lack of weight loss. I know how frustrating it can be. I've had weeks at Weight Watchers where I've done everything exactly the way I'm supposed to and lost only a pound or two or even gained and other weeks where I've done nothing according to plan and lost big. Go figure! The only unsolicited advice I have is not to give up.

Weight loss. What's that? I quit going to the gym since it got really cold outside -- after Christmas break. The thought of walking through the cold gives me the chills! I probably should though :\

I am there with you on the weight loss! I've been working out 6 days a week since Xmas and am only down 2 lbs! And I have been eating pretty well too, so I don't know what the deal is. I know this doesn't really help, but no matter what if you are working out several times a week, you are healthier! and that is what is important! Are you drinking lots of water? That is the hardest part for me because I don't like water, but I do notice when I drinking more water, I tend to lose more wieght! Good luck and keep it up!!
